Greetings all.
The open day was a good time as we got to do the setup and layout trials, though the attendance was not what we hoped. Still, the library got some extra sorting, more equipment was assembled, and we proved it all fits in the storeroom. We unwrapped the Dobbins collection which we purchased some time ago, in anticipation for the time we would have this onsite storage and be able to actually use it.
The overcast day still had light steaming in over the workbenches. We were privileged to have a number of the life members, and representatives of some who had been promoted to better things visit.
We look forward now having our meetings in the new location and also to the establishment of classes and training systems in the next few months. Here is a few pics of one type of teaching setup. All you see is able to be moved with a small jack trolley back into storage at the end of the day, very short order.
I hope you all get to participate in its use, classes, open bindery, guest speakers, and regular members meetings. We hope to publish the schedule very soon.

Nipping presses all lift and return to storage. Hand titling tools, and rolls for decoration.
Lying press and plough, one of several.
Hand Guillotine for book blocks will normally live in the storage.
Marshall blocker also lives in the storage area
The Library and 40 years of Achives plus the plan cabinets for the materials buying scheme make one side of the storage.
