Open Bindery at the Dorking Press Bindery

I will be opening my bindery as a trial on Thursdays 15, and 22 March to allow Guild members another option for their projects. The Bindery is small, allowing only 6 people plus myself if we want to do serious work.

I have several presses, guillotine, plough, board cutter, gold blocking, gold tooling, and finishing presses.

If the idea catches on and the facilities suit, I will seek in co-operation with the Guild, futher regular times to open the bindery.

For these thursday evenings, we will treat them check out the faciities days, so there will be no charge to come along and see if its is suitable to your requirements.

On the 15th I will be set up for sewing several works, and on the 22, I will have the gold blocking set up. So you are welcome to visit. However registration is essential, though we wont stick too tightly to the numbers.for the first few night. Its up in the Dandenongs, the address will be included in the registration reply.

If the demand is there there will be a small charge, part to offset the costs of the bindery, part to grow the fund of the Guild to allow us one day to have a permanent bindery home.

Registration is essential.
