Fund Raising Sales

Greetings all,
Now comes the reality of the exciting time. Our development depends on the funds available to develop the programs, pay the rental, insurance web web development and the like. We are busy writing plans and programs for the use of the facility and cataloguing the tools and materials available to us. We will have a surplus of some items, and so we plan to sell them to raise the funds. So they will appear on this page as they are catalogued. So duplicates of tools and machinery, books the library and some materials will all appear here as we get them organised.
So first up we are using some donated marble (A long benchtop which got damaged) to make paring blocks. Some prefer marble to traditional litho stones which are getting hard to find. Also the knife skips over the marble which some prefer. Usual size will be about 350 x 350mm but we will have the option to have some cut to slightly larger or smaller. All are 30mm thick. Two prices Members $25 and non members 35. However these are heavy and will only be available for pickup at meetings. The freight will make any of then exorbitantly priced.
So we will want to have them all cut at the same time to save the expense of travel etc. So you can place an order and we will hold it until you appear at a meeting or get a friend to pick up. If the orders come in quickly we will have them available for the September meeting. Place your orders via email.
