Membership of the Victorian Bookbinders Guild runs from 1st July to 30th June each year. Membership forms can be completed online or downloaded and emailed to the Secretary. Annual membership is $60 for a single membership.

Membership Benefits:

  • Three editions of Signature per year, the Victorian Bookbinders Guild newsletter, along with updates from other bookbinding guilds and societies from around the world.
  • Priority booking and discounts for workshops and courses hosted by the Guild.
  • Access to the Guild's extensive library covering various aspects of bookbinding.
  • Access to the members' buying scheme, which aims to make materials and supplies available that may not otherwise be readily obtainable in small quantities.

Update: Events

Greetings, 

We have settled the main regular meetings for the year, though workshops are still to be added.

We are using the Trybooking app to simplify management - we need to be sure we have relevant monitors available at each event, to ensure materials, and tools are available. Do not hesitate to contact president or secretary if you have any questions or special requirements for the events listed.

We expect we will be learning our way in this new mode and we hope we will extend it as demand dictates.
Our new home does cost more but provides far more in resources that we have been able to offer for a long time.
We are thankful to the many responses we have had so far, and the opportunities of new workshops and training days has increased with a number of tutors making themselves available to us. We are thankful for all these, and hope we can grow the usefulness of Bookbinding Victoria to the community of book people.
