Two Workshops in April

1. Have you ever wondered how a book is made? In this one-day class you will make a case-bound cloth notebook, while learning the basic tools, materials, and techniques of bookbinding. No prior experience needed. Non-members and beginning book designers and makers are welcome.

Introduction to Bookbinding

Time: 10am - 4pm
Workshop cost: Members $100; Non-Members $120; all materials included.

2. Library Bindings are a very strong binding intended for regular use. This 2 day workshop will allow participants to learn and use the processes in the extra strength construction of these heavy use books. Also used for magazine and periodicals. Requires binding experience. Non-members with demonstrated experience are welcome.

BYO lunch. Coffee and tea provided. You can bring your own tools that will be used knife, cutting matt, folder, needles, awls, ruler, otherwise we will provide them.
