Christmas Greetings

Greetings to all and out very best wishes for the Christmas period. We expect to be able this year to celebrate with Church services and meetings with groups of friends in the way we traditionally have celebrated, and we hope you enjoy doing the same.

Our next Members Meeting will be the regular 28 Feb meeting, and we will set up for barbecue and marbling evening. Bring clothes that can get messy or aprons and enjoy experimenting with making marbles paper. The bindery will be open on that day from 2-5pm also. Email to book.

We have not opened formal bookings for open bindery which would be 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, However if there is sufficient interest, and the weather stays cool, we are able to be open on one or all of those days. Dates are 10, and 24 January, 14 Feb 2023. Please email me to book and we will open is there is sufficient interest.
Our formal program for the year will be released in Feb. High lights will be the National conference in July and the possibility of international speakers travelling here for workshops. along with a number of introductory, and intermediate level workshops. Email me mb@vbg.net.au if you require any further information on any matters.

In addition we will have significant sales of equipment and materials donated by the families of former binders. We hope the availability of these materials and equipment, will assist in the development of individual skills and also allow new members to commence binding without great outlays of cash.

In all we are pleased to be looking with enthusiasm to the developing operations of the new bindery and meeting new friends as they also benefit from the services of Bookbinding Victoria.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the President and your Committee.
