June Meeting: Ten Minute Slipcase

For our June meeting, we will be delving into the world of slipcases with a hands-on demonstration of the "Ten-Minute Slipcase". A lightweight slipcase made from 3 mm card, it is famously known as the "ten-minute slipcase that takes twenty minutes". This case has been demonstrated throughout the Australian bookbinding guilds for the last thirty years, with its first appearance said to have been in Signature in the late 1980s.

For this meeting, please bring along a hardcover book for which you would like to make a slipcase.
